Soooo ladies. I've been ranting to you all about these foundations. I was matched to mac NC50 studio tech. Started using with no problem then it began to get "greyish" looking. I just ordered the NC50 studio fix fluid and here are the results! It's the same greyish looking tiny! :( why is that?

How does it look?

I definitely see the gray cast. I'm not a makeup artist but I have to say that MAC just not be the one for your skintype. Or maybe they just didnt match you correctly. NW range might work. I'm a NC45 at MAC ( I don't wear their foundations because they are too irritating and some formulas within their line oxidize orange on me regardless of what I do prior to application). I would check out Becca cosmetics, Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier ( she has a new foundation that has deeper shades and the formula feels great on the skin).

They matches you poorly.
I'd go lighter..
Mac is know for oxidizing as well..
I don't feel like MAC makes the best foundation..
I'm still looking for my perfect match tho.

Mac mineralized used to b awesome for me. lately, not as much...

It looks like you have good skin. I'd suggest going with a lighter formula. maybe mineralized or match masters.

Thanks Naomi. I don't have blemishes or anything. Just wanted a more flawless look. But studio tech worked just fine.. Until I put it on you grey tint appeared.

Hi..they probably matched you wrong..you should be nw and not nc, as your skin tone is a lot warmer..as our skin color gets deeper, it gets warmer if that makes any sense..I suggest you get a sample of the nw50 and try it out..good luck!

Bring what they matched you with to exchange for other product!
You could definitely do a Bobbi Brown foundation, they tend to be warm, and when you look at this photo what stands out to me is the comparative warmth in your chest. Shelley's suggestions are all great!

I also have to ask, and this could be a trick of the light, it's impossible to tell from a picture, BUT, it almost seems like the color they matched you to is a bit dark? How do you feel about that when you see yourself in daylight? I'm looking at your chest (a better place to match than the cheek usually) and your cheeks and they look lighter? Then it appears like you've got more foundation coverage over your lower half of your face and blended into your neck?
Again, it's SO HARD to tell in pics, so only you will know.
