Share your secrets? I never get mine right.. And my left hand always looks even worse.. Even just putting on a color, no fancy designs.. 😁

That use to happen with me. But since I made a thread here months ago about something similar to that.
Its not that hard to be honest , all you have to do is get use to using that particular hand. You can try WaterMarble. Thats pretty easy and you don't need to polish your nail , except using a solid base. Here is one.

Honestly, it just takes practice. If you look at my pictures at my very first nail design, it's pretty bad. I'm still learning too.

And I wouldn't suggest water marble for a beginner. I still can't do it very well and it isn't as easy as it looks, trust me lol. Start simple like painting your nails one color just to get use to painting them without making a mess.

I'm assuming yo I want them to be neater, this is how proffesionals do it.

You don't.actually cover the entire nail, just get as close as you can. Blew my mind the.first time I saw this

@Bryanna watermarble isn't that hard. I mean you don't even paint your nails when doing this , you dip them in water.

I always dip a thin paintbrush in acetone and clean up the edges on my nails, since I'm way too impatient to fuss with brushing polish on perfectly the first time.

Water marbling is actually pretty difficult if you don't know which polishes to use. Many don't have the correct consistency to properly marble; plus you have to work really quickly (not ideal for a beginner).

Yes, to get a good watermarble takes practice. The water has to be a certain temp, also usually filtered, you need to play with polishes to find which ones work, also aligning your fingers with the polish isn't very easy either. Not to mention how big of a pain clean up is. Look up beginner nail designs on youtube or Pinterest. Dots are a great place to start. Confetti polish is great to add to any color. Just start simple :)

Practice.. practice.. practice and a steady hand.
don't worry about polish on your skin because that can always be cleaned off
