I have a pimple on my nose :( I really want it to go away but I'm scared to pop it because I don't know if that will make it worse or not. And it's very painful and very red. Any tips on how to get rid of redness and the pain?

Best thng is to leave it alone. the more you mess with it, will jst mke it worst. try applyn a spot treatment and drink a lot of water.

Neosporin, gently washing, an break open a Liquid Advil and apply it to the blemish then cover w/ a bandaid. Also take an Advil to help bring down the swelling and just try not to mess with.

Be careful with icing because you can break open capillaries.

Try steaming it with a warm wash rag to try to bring the clog out or closer to the surface of your skin. Then apply some spot treatment (my favorite is tea tree oil from the body shop) and leave it alone. Since it already hurts I wouldn't recommenced trying to pop it, but surly it with be gone soon.

Dab some rubbing alcohol on it it may stun a little but it will help shrink it down an ease the pain. Popping the pimple helps to.

For redness, Aloe Vera.
Neosporin after it's been popped or your spot treatment.
I use actual tea tree oil.. not too favorable from the one from the body shop since it contains next to nothing. Dilute the oil though. No irritating products or scrubs on the area. Acne is mostly inflammation so anything to help the inflammation works great. SPF so that the redness is cooled down and it isn't so irritated as well. Stop a bit on dairy, high sugar, and intake a bit of fruits with anti oxidants and lots of water and green tea. I like to use my homemade green tea toner or homemade aloe vera toner on any red spots. I usually soak a cotton pad with it and apply it to the area.
