I made my own after seeing so many people rave about the Frank coffee scrub, and I can honestly say it has changed my life. I have pretty bad eczema and scarring from it, and since using the scrub my dry patches are almost completely gone and my scars have faded significantly. Anyone else tried one? If not, you should!!

I don't really have a recipe, I just mix the ingredients till I get a constancy I like. I use pre ground coffee (you can use the used grounds from your coffee machine, it won't change the effectiveness, I jus never drink coffee haha), coconut oil, some turbinado sugar, some honey, and sea salt. I use more sugar than salt, and more coffee than both. I also like to add other oils if I have any, like avocado and castor oil. But I just keep adding till I like the way it feels, then put it in a jar. I start with the honey and coconut oil, because you have to heat them up so they mix easier. I don't add too much honey, it's mostly just to hold the scrub together so it's not so loose.

I recommend only using it about 2 times a week, because you don't want to over exfoliate. I use it after I'm almost done with my shower, while my conditioner is in my hair. I shut the water off and rub it all over my body and leave it on for 5-15 minutes (or as long as I can handle just sitting there haha). I rinse it off and follow up with a little more coconut oil and shave, and I swear it gives you the closest shave!! Just make sure to rinse all of it off your shower or tub, since it may stain if you don't! I also use it on my face, but very gently. If you guys want me to come up with an exact recipe I can try, but it's just so easy I feel like it's unnecessary :) I hope all you guys try it out and have good results with it!!

If you want it to be more accurate to the Frank scrub, you just need to add some orange extract and sweet almond oil. I don't have those so I just don't use them.

@Shannie I've been using it for about a month and I've already seen results. I can't say if it helps with cellulite or stretch marks since I don't have much cellulite and the stretch marks I have are those light yellow-y ones, but I HAVE heard others say it helps with both! If you look up Frank on instagram, they have a whole other account dedicated to their users' results. It's amazing to see how much their skin has improved! Whether they're 100% real or not, I cannot say, but it's worth a shot to try it! If anything it's a great way to prep your skin before shaving :)

It made my stretch marks worse.

My marks were barely there and now they are bright pink right after I did it. Coincidence?

Just made one with coffee, coconut, virgin olive oil, sugar, sea salt and honey. I'm really excited to try it later, thanks for the tip!

I tried it a while ago and it has helped with my weird dry/ lump/ cracked skin under my butt. It hasn't done much to the small patches of lumps (kind of like keratosis pilaris) but overall my skin feel very soft :)
