I have suffered from acne ever since I was 13 years of age (I am 19) and I got my skin clear from acne. I started wearing makeup at 15 years old and my acne was kinda back but not as much as before. but I noticed each the my problem area would disappear I was left with these red marks on my face. I changed makeup brands and gone long periods of time without wearing any makeup. I have even gone to a dermatologist and nothing works... 3 years or more have past and my face isnt getting any better and I still get pimples here and there which I don't mind but I just want to get rid of these stupid marks! I am so insercure with all these marks. help? :(

Those marks are called hyperpigmentation marks, and I know how you feel my face is full of them. I haven't found anything that helps, but maybe if you Google how to get rid of them you'll find something that will work for you. But whatever you do, don't use lemon juice on them as some people suggest. Lemon juice is very acidic so it can really irritate the skin, causing the skin to become a breeding ground for bacteria, thus causing more pimples.

A Chemical Exfoliant ( BHA ), an antioxidant serum.. ( and squalane oil if you can! )
SPF as to keep it safe from staying red or more redness.
And don't be insecure, you're human not a barbie doll ☺

I absolutely recommend chemical peels, go for one every two or three weeks until they are gone , this worked wonders for me!

A sugar and lemon face scrub will clear it up in like a month or two. Google it. It should be easy to make at home without buying stuff. I think all you need is sugar, lemon juice, honey, and olive oil. I used to have severe acne and it left red marks and scars. They're gone now bcuz of the scrub. :)

I know people say to not use lemon juice but the other ingredients will balance it out. Your skin will feel so soft afterwards.
