Ok so as I can probably tell her I want to look a bit older. not by much it's just I'm really short and all the kids in my grade look older. is there anything I can do with my makeup or things that I wear to make me look a bit older. pS I'm still have to wear the same type of clothing. band shirts colored skinny jeans beanies converse X cetera. but is there any certain cut on my shirt that I could wear make me look older or any type of shoes.

Just be yourself. if you try too hard it's going to be noticeable. it's all about attitude & how you carry yourself. I've always been either the shortest or one of the shortest in all my grades, but that didn't cause any issues. I could still make friends & get boyfriends lol. I'm 19 now & some people think I'm like 13. but it doesn't really matter. why exactly do you want to look older? is it causing you issues (like bullying)?

I've never had that problem. I've always looked older. Some people just have youthful features. A different hair cut can make a huge difference though.

Makeup doesn't have the same effect that clothes do - if you dress more professionally than childish that will have a bigger impact than makeup - but you can try a bold lip color, some mascara and eyeliner that should do it - but other than that I wouldn't focus too much on makeup more than the way you carry yourself n the clothes you wear - heels make you look more sophisticated and taller so that should help as well as more polished wardrobe as well - invest in a blazer and some slacks or dark wash jeans n see if that helps.

PS I'm 26 and I still pass for 18 XP like Brianna said some folks just have youthful features n probably doesn't help I'm only 5'3" but I embrace it because when I'm 50 hopefully I'll still look 25 ;) hehe.

I look super young for my age too so I know understand the desire to look older. For me the easiest way to make people think I'm older is just by interacting with them. Once people realize that you have the maturity and intelligence someone your age should have they'll start viewing you as that age. That being said makeup is probably a bit faster. If I'm trying to look natural but also look like I'm 15 still (I'm 19) I fill in my brows, use a bit of concealer and blush, contour a bit, and put on a red tinted lip balm. Contouring and highlighting can help make a big difference depending on your age because younger people tend to have more baby fat in their faces.

If you want to look older, a much shorter haircut will do the trick. Like a spiky pixie cut.
However, looking at your pic, you still have your baby face, you just haven't quite hit that point where you really um develop. This is personal and I'm not asking you to answer it, just like take personal stock, but if your boobs haven't really "come in" you've got more growing to do. This may feel unfair but trust me, the flip side is just as, if not more, cruel.
In the meantime, enjoy where you're at. That's all you can do in life.

Change the haircut. You can tell you are a juvenile from a mile away with it. I look really young for my age and what I found was that putting on makeup and contouring my face to sharpen my features really does it. people have told me I look older when I do that. Also take a look at what adults where around town. its not always my cup of tea but that helps.
