Hiya, seeing as the beauty blender is quite expensive I was just wondering if it was worth it? What do you use it for? Reviews? Any alternatives? Do normal sponges do the same job? Thank you 😊

YES YES YES, the beauty blender is totally worth it. I use mine for foundation and concealer and it makes my face look very natural and flawless. I heard the real techniques one is really good as well, but I haven't tried that one. Personally I think you should buy it, cause it is definitely worth the price!!

Also, I know that it is a lot of money for a sponge, but if you clean it regularly and take proper care of it, it will last longer and you will get your money's worth.

So far every single professional properly trained make up artist has said Nope! Buy a regular cheap sponge or a good brush.
I usually listen to their advice, much funner things to buy in Sephora anyways ☺

Waaaay too expensive for a little sponge. No thanks, I can buy other things with that money. I have a cheap 'dupe' from Marshall's and it works just fine!

I agree Jacqlyn.. seen soo many posts on Beautylish with the pictures of molding Beauty Blenders. Unlikes a brush it's not a one time thing, and that just adds up too much.

Wayne goss made a good video dealing with beauty blenders :) the shape is convenient but not worth the price.

I love my beauty blender and I use it almost everyday. I've never had any problems with it. However I'm sure there are much cheaper alternatives that work just as well

In a way yes it is worth it, but for a sponge it is so expensive! I have found knock-offs for much cheaper and they work just fine, sometimes even better. I would say see if you can find a cheaper version and if not I would then buy the real thing because it works amazing.

I don't have either but I have heard from lots of people that the Real Techniques one is better. Maybe you should get the RT one and then if it doesn't work for you give in and get the beauty blender...

The Beauty Blender material is like a microphone cover it's light and bounces off the skin as you pat and roll.It is different in texture from other brands it's meant for a easy application without a heavy hand which most don't realize they have (dominate hand) that could possibly be why so much product gets wiped off or apply to much on, hence why it cost more but as of lately the prices for the Actual beauty blender has lowered in cost.Is it worth the price eehh hard to say lets be real so many things are over priced as of lately so to each their own with that. But is it worth the finish and job yes for those who want a stress free finish. It's best used to set the makeup not actually to apply. It settles the marks from brushes and helps soften the finish.I will say I'm not the biggest fan of it being claim to be an all around miracle sponge but it does the finishing job only if need be.I have tried knock off's to amuse myself to compare the difference and I can say it does not compare to other sponges texture. It's a personal preference you look at all the sponges and compare how much products are sucked in them all and as for the mold on some well if you re read why it happened you'll have a better understanding why it did happened.Beauty blenders last up to 8 month's and if used with their cleaning soap it will withstand the use of daily makeup.I don't think Real Techniques sponge is better, look in all honesty if people can't afford the luxury line of a product they tend to believe some lower cost one's are better to appease themselves But that does not necessarily mean their wrong some brands at lower cost are just as good, but some which cannot be compared to lower cost brands such as the Real Beauty Blender to another such as Real techniques blender sponge texture is a huge difference.

I've heard the forever21 ones are just as good, and I use the real techniques one and I like it better cuz of its shape
