I have a few questions about stick foundations.

-what are your favorites? Tell me about them, please :)
-how do you apply and blend them out?

I'm interested in the idea, it seems like a good way to get into foundation, so I'd appreciate any and all advice! Thanks y'all.

Bobbi brown stick foundation. I just swipe it all over my face and blend with a sponge/Fingers/buffing brush.

Oh, really? Do they make makeup for women not of color? I'm relatively pale, would they have a shade that works for me?

Sorry, the above comment is about Black Opal. Good to know, Melanie, how does it feel on the skin?

I like the skincognito stick foundation from Drew Barrymore's Flower makeup line. Its medium to full coverage and very natural looking. My shade is the palest, and I just swipe some all over my face and blend it out with a brush :)

Flower is found at cvs or some walgreens I do believe. Also some targets carry it but not all.

I agree with the Bobbi brown foundation stick. Just dab it on & blend it out with a buffing brush or beauty blender. I'm not sure how light they go though, sorry!

I purchase all of my Flower products at Walmart. But from what I hear, not all Walmarts carry it but I wouldn't be surprised if you could find it somewhere online :)

Thanks so much, y'all! Sarah, I meant to say that I am most certainly caucasian, not super pale by those standards, but I was under the impression that Black Opal was geared towards women of color, no?

Thanks Jackie. I actually do think that the convenience of a stick is probably what I need if I'm going to attempt foundation. Thanks so much for the explanation! I also happen to have normal-to-dry skin, which stick foundation would you recommend?

I'm all about Pixi by Petra cosmetics stick foundation it's so light and has awesome coverage. Plus, it never breaks me out and my skin is pretty sensitive. I blend with my ring finger because it has the lightest amount of pressure. If you use a primer and mix it with the foundation stick it makes an awesome tinted moisturizer and then use the stick as a spot concealer.
