I have had a lot of warts and mole removals in the past few years and I was VERY nervous before each one and there was nothing to be found on the pain, the experience, and the healing. So even though this may not help anyone I thought I would just put my experiences out there for all to see.

Laser surgery removal- this one is the most traumatic, I had this for big warts but the second time I needed a Valium I was so freaked. The doctor basically numbs the area up (which hurts like heck for the first 2-3 shots but then your numb) takes a scalpel and cuts the wart/mole off (don't feel) and then takes a laser and removes the top 2 layers of your skin (you feel this but it's not that terrible). The result is a big hole that you have to wash everyday and bandage (the first week or 2 is pretty sore and hurts to wash out) I had minimal scarring but a long healing process
Liquid nitrogen removal - now this looks way scarier than it actually is, it was a super common procedure so don't worry the doc defiantly knows what they're doing. I was numbed up with a few shots (again painful but less shots because of the smaller wart) then uses the pump to essentially "freeze" off the wart/mole. Pretty quickly the area turned into a big blister which turned into a blood blister (painful through the day) which with the doctors consent we popped with a sterile needle then cleaned daily and put a bandaid and neosporin on. The scarring was a small bump in skin but healed pretty quickly.
Cutting off method - I was so freaked out the first time I had a mole cut off, I had no reason at all! The doctor numbed me up and all I could feel was a normal shot. He used a razor-blade looking thing to cut it off then cleaned it off and burned the edges and roots off (there's a name for it but I can't remember) and put a bandaid on. Clean daily and put a bandaid and neosporin on. Little to no scarring. This was the easiest method.

I only had the laser removal on my feet and hands. I only had the liquid nitrogen on my hands. I only had the cutting off on my neck. I'm not a doctor but had all procedures done by a dermatologist. These were my personal experiences and I can't vouch for any other information than my personal things. Hope I helped everyone!

Thankfully my insurance helps with the surgeries but I think they were still really expensive! The laser surgery actually left a really bad scar on my foot and on my thumb, the liquid nitrogen left a much better scar but I don't know how that would do with acne scars.

I got a mole on my foot and I got it removed 2 years ago for lab tests. Idk what the procedure is called, totally forgot. But the doctor numbed my foot. She had like a blade that looked like a cookie cutter and he swirled it around my mole to make a hole. She then lifted that part and cut it off. It was weird. I got 3 stitches. It wasn't super painful but it did hurt.

Ohh yes my mom has had that for dark spots, she said it hurt really bad. Llesenia that sounds pretty odd, did you go to a foot doc or a derm?

I had a mole right in the middle of my chest, where a necklace would lay. It was literally like a pencil eraser, we were concerned about it. So I went to get it removed. The numbing hurt a lot, she stuck the needling right in my chest by the mole. Then she took the scalpel and cut it off. I didn't feel anything. But it left a huge hole, it looked like someone burnt me with a cigarette or cigar. That healed up, then it started to grow back, so I had to endure it again. I unfortunately have a scar left over, but it's a light scar so I can easily cover it up. It really sucked! I don't know how you could go through it that much.

I went to my general doctor. It was during my physical that she noticed. So we scheduled another appointment and she took it off there. I run cross country so I was not fun not being able to wear shoes!
