I wanna dye the ends of my hair a crazy colour for summer but I really don't wanna bleach it because I need it to be fully black for school in a month, are there any dyes that work well on dark hair? I wanted to try purple or blue.

You're not going to get a bright color without bleach. However you could do this with extensions pretty easily.

Have you tried hair chalk? That way you can try a new colour whenever you want, and it just washes out!

Yeah I guess I could consider bleach but it's just such a hard decision since my hair JUST got healthy and I'll be bleaching it for such a short period of time and ah haha what a difficult choice. I'll look into extensions thanks!

I have and it didn't look too great in my hair, I might see if I can try a different brand.

There aren't any that will work sadly :( you'll need to bleach it to get it lighter. I've tried even putting blue and purple in regular brown and it fades verrry quickly and tends to look awful. Hair chalk, as much as I dislike it haha, is exactly what you want :)

Ugh I don't even wanna think of bleach after recovering from bright red, what a dilemma 😫

A friend of mine used purple hair chalk one morning and came to school like that and it was just a mess... It completely stained her white tank top. Not recommended.

Hair chalk is good but you have to set it so it doesn't go everywhere. You can spray the hair with hair chalk with hairspray. Or you could use heat to set it. Also since you have dark hair getting your hair wet first makes it show up wayyy more vibrant. Hope this helps :)
