I put on lip balm everyday but where I live is extremely dry and hot right now my lips keep peeling!! It is so annoying, any help would be appreciated! (:

Try exfoliating to get all the dead skin off, before you apply lip balm :) that should help.

Ooh, good point Natalie. Look for a lip balm that is petroleum free, it will actually moisturize your lips instead of staying on top of them.

I like Burt's Bees, my current favorite is Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm, but it's rather expensive. As for exfoliants, pick up the Elf lip exfoliator. It's like $3, and it's amazing. It comes in a tube like a lipstick, so it's mess-free, and it works like a charm to remove dead skin :)

Use EOS Lip balm it smells nice and almost instantaneously relieves your lips and smooths out dry patches and peels on your lips.

If that does not work use Baby Lips, it adds a nice touch of color and it makes your lips feel smoother and silky. I have both and they are amazing.

Love exfoliating with sugar and coffee grounds! And when it comes to lip balms/Chapstick (or pretty much any lip product) you want to really check out the ingredients. If you wouldn't put it in your body then it's probably not the best idea to put it on the outside (when it comes to certain products) 😊

Bliss actually sells a lip scrub with what is basically a crest spinbrush lol! I agree with everyone else. Soft toothbrush and/or a little sugar and coconut or olive oil. I also swipe a little coconut oil before I wash my face or shower to prevent the hard water in my area from making them even more dry.

I think making a lip scrub works well!! Plus you can lick it off! I really like brands like Burt's bees and Blistex other than Eos or Baby lips for dry lips, I think they work better with just keeping them nice.
