I would go for brighter eye colors such as Orange, gold ans greens. I always find that super pretty on darker skin! but I found lighter lipstick to be a bit weird... darker nude or bright pinks ans mauves would probably gorgeous!
and by the way, I love your dress!!

I think dark skin beauties have no limits when it comes to makeup. That's just my opinion but I feel that we can rock cool toned/warmed tone shades with ease. The most important thing is making sure we have the right match in the foundation department...other than that there is no limits. We might need to tweak certain shades but for the most part work with anything that catches your eye. I love seeing bright colors...especially lippies. MAC candy yum yum comes to mind. When it comes to eyes...blues, purples, lime greens, bronzes, golds, taupes, various shades of pink.

Not to be mean but I totally disagree with everyone! haha. I think soft and neutral looks best. spot-on foundation like Shelley said, minimal eye makeup, neutral lips. just my personal preference.

With darker skin tones I looooveee heavy highlighting! Like highlighting with concealer and also adding extra shimmery highlight on cheekbones and also bright blush, I think it makes the skin look so beautiful! As for shadows I am obsessed with golds especially cuz it goes with every skin tone and you can make both either dramatic or softer looks.
