I used the loreal sublime bronze self tanning lotion and it looks so terrible! it's so blotchy and gross. how do I get it to fade fast?

Oh my God that happened to me too! I used it on my face. I washed my face a million times, I steamed my face and I used milk to calm the area. The steam really helped but my face was so red afterwards, that's where the milk came in. if it's on your body, take a long bath or, even better, go for a swim in a chlorine pool. That oughta help. Then just rub a muslin cloth all over your body to remove the orange splotchy dead skin cells.

BTW I used the wipes. definitely not better than lotion! And time is the best way to get rid of it completely.

If it's really bad take a bath with epsom salt and lemons and before bed and when you wake up take a sponge with sparkling water and a lot of lemon juice and scrub.

I personally love the Sephora brand spray on tan. A nice color that is easy to apply and doesn't streak.
