Bad sephora experience

I went to sephora today, now I have never been to sephora and I never will again because I don't have one in my country and they won't deliver there.
So the sales lady seemed irratated with me and just didn't seem to care that much and then she showed me the smashbox cc cream which I fell in love with bue I couldn't afford the full size so I asked if they have a miniture and she said yes so she gave me the box and walked off, the ladies at the cash register were kinds mean so I didn't have time to check the box she gave me.
When I got home I noticed that it wasn't the cc cream but BareMinerals Prime Time BB Primer-Cream.
I don't have time to go back because I will be going home on sunday so what are your thaughts about the product? Can I use it just as a BB cream? I don't wear foundation for the record.
I am just a little sad because I was so excited to go to sephora and this is what happened.

I would call the store and speak to a manager. Tell them what happened, that the staff was rude, and that you were given the wrong product. Without going back to the store your options are kind of limited though.

They should be able to send you the correct product where you're staying. At least I hope. Make sure they overnight it lol.

I've'e heard so many bad reviews on Sephora employees, even racist ones. I say go back there, talk to the manager and make a complaint and return the product you bought and buy the one you wanted.

You could email customer service and talk directly to the regional manager, which is what I had to do once.

Typically, not every Sephora is a good Sephora. I've got 15 local ones and have been to seven or eight, out of which two I cannot stand and do not take my business to as they're rude as fudge balls and me and Opal (the regional manager) have a talk every time about it.

I understand your frustration, but don't let one bad experience ruin it for you. I would speak with the manager and report the workers if you remember their names. I've never had a bad experience at my local Sephoras. There's so many fantastic employees that do their jobs properly and with a smile on their face!

Elana speaking from personal experience I honestly think you were discriminated against because of your youthful appearance. I've had it happen to me before at a different makeup store so I always go shopping with my mother.

Thank you all for your help I really appreciate it, I wish I had time to go tomorrow but I won't have time since I am flying home even though I didn't have good costumer service at least I got great products: They're real mascara, brow gel and an eyeliner brush :)
@jenna.m I hope it's not because of the I mean I'm almost eighteen ;) but thanks for the advice.

All y'all wrong. I work at sephora and I'm so sorry for your shitty experience. Do the survey that came w your receipt. THAT**** is how you complain. If you call the manager they won't give a shit bcoz your complaints need to go thru the system, same for if you have a good experience. You can tell the manager how much you love the consultant but if you don't do the survey they don't get the appreciation they deserve.

@raquel s. I already contacted support on the website also because I wanted to know about the shipping they said they will talk to them but I still have the product instead of what I wabted and I can't exchange because I am back home where we don't have sephora.
