I need help!

I watched a video that seemed simple enough but I can't seem to get it right.

I put them in upside down but when I put my hair up they start falling out. and start showing..

Did you start from the middle of your head? And possibly tease a little where you put the clips

Yeah that helped with them coming out a little but they're showing a lot now :/
