I used acetone but now there are lots of layers off and I put lots of clear over it and it still peels and I have no idea what to do

I would give it a break by trimming it, soaking it in warm water, massaging in cuticle oil and heavy hand cream, then applying a coat of nail strengthener to prevent any further pealing. Don't buff it because that would take even more layers off.

That is the only thing I absolutely hate about Acrylic nails; the after math! I took mine of last week, and honestly, there's really nothing we can do besides cutting the nails, file them & buy a strengthener to apply to them. You will see, in a week or two they will be a lot better ☺️

Try filing down whatever is left :)

You have to buff off all that on top then apply cuticle oil and as mentioned put that nail strengthnrr and let it grow out.

They will go back to normal with time.
