So I have had this cyst for a week now. I have done everything I can to bring it up so I can get rid of the infection. Its so painful , I can feel it throbbing during the day. I have given up... I can't see my doctor till next week and get a referral to a dermatologist. This is something I have inherited from my moms side of the family , just never this bad.
I keep it clean now , only wash my face in the morning and at night but wipe my face if it feels dirty through out the day. I am putting neosporain right now to see if I can get it to heal...

Wait until you can see the dermo. Don't treat it with anymore additional products as you could be doing more harm than good. With it throbbing in pain its obvious its an infection...let it run its course.

Ouch! I've been getting a lot of cysts lately but mine are made of keratin and aren't painful. If you have insurance I would go to urgent care. It is wierd that the antibiotics aren't helping. Different infections call for different antibiotics but I'd really think in this case they'd be similar:( GOOD LUCK! Hope you feel better soon!

They should check it for MRSA Which is antibiotic resistant it can be just on your skin , without being in your blood , and it will take extremely long to go away , a doctor would be able to tell you if it is or not ,

It does look like MRSA Traci , now I am panicking... it is healing on its own (top layer ) but there is still a large lump that is still throbbing under the skin. Wondering how I could have gotten this?

Don't panic hun MRSA lives on 85 percent of people skin it gets in threw a scratch or opening, but you may just have a cyst, the doctor can take a swab of it and tell you, if it is they just give you a gel for your nose and some pills , the spores for MRSA live in your nose hair , and when it's just on your skin you don't get sick or a fever, it just takes longer for the cyst to heal without the proper medication , but you won't know unless a doctor tells you,
