I have dark hair and everytime I use dry shampoo it leaves white residue on my hair I have tried the batiste and dove and both seem to do the same although I've been searching for that treseme dry shampoo I think it's actually like a foam not a spray I just can't seem to find it anywhere.

The treseme dry shampoo is not any better. I do not like the texture of my hair when I use the foam. R you spraying the dry shampoo too close to your scalp, this will cause white residue. Try spraying at least 6 inches away from scalp. And are you brushing your hair out after you spray? Cuz once you brush it out it helps get rid of the residue. I also massage the dry shampoo into my scalp with my hands In order to eliminate the residue. Hope this was helpful.

Did you use the brown Batiste? The one I use doesn't leave visible residue it's called Rusk deepshine color care invisible dry shampoo. I agree with Vickie about the gross feeling the Tresseme one leaves hair with.

No I used a green n white bottle of batiste...maybe I am spraying too close

Well try spraying farther and see if that helps. If not, try the one by Rusk that Angela recommend. It's a good brand!
