I really think you should talk to your doc before taking any kinda pills. Eating healthy, drinkn water and getting your trims will help it along but your hair growth is based on genetics.

There may not be any pill way. But I did no heat summer, which is where you use no heat on your hair. I did some different masks on my hair. And I went from having my hair from my chin to my chest area. I will try and post pics!!

Hair growth is based on genetics, the health of you & your hair. so the only way to promote growth is to keep yourself & your hair in good health.

Do not just go taking pills (including biotin). You can end up with side effects serious enough to put you in the hospital. always ask your doctor first.

Some tips to promote growth:
get trims regularly (split ends will go higher up the longer you wait & then you'll have to cut off more hair)
drink a lot of water
use as little heat as possible
always use a heat protectant, I recommend It's a 10
don't brush your hair while it's wet
do hot oil treatments (I use coconut oil)
use a deep conditioner (I use Aussie 3 minute miracle)
use hair masks (I use loreal oleo therapy, but diy masks are good too)
If you want to diy a mask, some ingredients you can use are; aloe vera, honey, bananas, avocados, mayo, eggs, coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, almond oil, & avocado oil.
try a leave in conditioner (I use my shea moisture conditioner for dry damaged hair. It can be a conditioner, leave in conditioner, & mask)

keep in mind that there are no miracle products or methods. good luck in growing your hair! :)

I'm sorry, but crushing pills up & putting them in your shampoo will do nothing :/

Considering how hair I dead, the likelihood of putting pills in your shampoo and making hair grow is null. The absorption by the scalp also isn't strong enough for that. I doubt that you'd pour shampoo on your head and wash for an ungodly amount of time to even raise the probability of hair growth.
The likely reason why you'd think it did have an effect is due to placebo and confirmation bias. Normally we do not pay attention to the growth rate of our hair and attempting to grow it causes you to actually notice

Just listen to the girls up there

Well many people will disagree with this but I have found a way to make my hair grow longer and it has become a lot healthier too (At least from what I have seen). I was having issues with normal shampoo and conditioner, they made my hair look greasy at the roots, and extremely frizzy at the ends. I tried washing every few days, washing every day, and switching products every time it "stopped working". With no success with any over the counter product, I decided to try the "no poo" method. the first three months were the worst going in to the new regimen, but my hair eventually evened out. I am well aware that MANY PEOPLE ARE AGAINST THIS METHOD. Why are so many against this method?... Well trying to get the ph level or proper mix of a baking soda and water solution can be challenging, also many people feel baking soda is to harsh for hair. I can't say baking soda is or isn't good for your hair because I'm not a licens chemist, but I have noticed positive results. As for a conditioning rinse I use a ac vinegar mix to close the follicle and make my hair soft. Again, many will disagree to this. The best part of my routine is a hair serum I mixed up for my self. I used plants from my garden along with many books on herbal remedies, and recipies, to create a tonic packed with vitamins and minerals for my hair. There are 14 different plants in the tonic I use ( fair warning many people are against using more than one plant at a time, I on the other hand am comfortable with mix and match) , the plants are made into a strong tea, mixed with aloe for moisture and brought to a ph level of 5.6. I also haven't put heat on my hair in almost a year, the same goes for any dyes or hair product (minus homemade spritz with herbal ingredients ). Again MANY PEOPLE WILL COMPLETELY DISAGREE WITH ME. However with the makings of my own apothecary at home, I am very comfortable doing this. Oh and my hair growth from Feb (When I started no poo) to now, My hair has gone from my shoulder blades to just below the bra line normally it won't grow past my arm pits.

Please remember I am not a licens chemist or botanist, I decided to take charge of my own hair, and this is what I came up with. If you feel confident to do something unusual as I have,PLEASE RESEARCH YOUR HEART OUT FIRST, AND REMEMBER TO PATCH TEST!!
