I want to wear a curly look today, but I don't like the curls so "curly and perfect" with every hair in place. I want a very relaxed, soft curl or wave if that makes sense. How do I achieve this? I have all tools needed to curl hair :)

Brush it out and then if you want hair spray.

Use a larger barreled curling iron then run your fingers through the curls.

I just use a large barrel and use light hair spray.

The best way to get soft curls in my opinion is a straightner. Then depending on how your hair holds curl you should probably put some mouse in it!

And also if you want to you can run your fingers through your curls afterwards.

I suggest not adding hairspray since it can make your hair kind of hard or crunchy even, and then do whatever type of curl. That should give you the soft look you're going for.

You can curl your hair like you normal would & just run your fingers through it a couple times :-)

Use your curling wand, and then separate with your fingers or gently brush the curls out (for future reference.

Fishtail braid your hair and leave it over night, it makes your hair curly. Normal braids crimp your hair, whereas I find fishtail braids curl.
You could also try bantu knots or flexi rods
