I have acne prone skin and its dry,so I bought a moisturiser from nutrogena (I don't know if I spelled it right ) excuse me if I didn't,it is non comedogenic and spf 15 now I don't want to spend any more money on a moisturiser so I was wondering if its ok if I also use it at night, thank you.

It's certainly okay to use at night! While you could pay more to get a "night cream" if all you want is moisturizing benefits, that'd be a waste! When you use up this one, they do make a moisturizer that's also oil free but doesn't have SPF, maybe get that one when you need more?

I personally would not use spf of any strength at night because it can clog pores etc.but definitely ask traci she gives amazing advice! :)

You can use it at night, but I don't recommend it. Simply because the ingredients such as zinc oxide can clog the pores and cause breakouts. The higher the SPF, the more likely it is to cause skin irritancy (like me for instance: I can only use SPF 35 right now at the upmost highest otherwise it's like putting fire on my skin). Also, day creams with SPF are not as moisturizing as a night cream and though this may not seem important, it is! When you sleep, your skin absorbs as much moisture as it can (generally 2 Tbsp.) as you sleep to help regenerate overnight. Ever heard of the term, "beauty sleep?" Literally, your skin is resetting itself at night, and when you skip drinking water or putting on a moisturizer your skin will become dehydrated and may make you look not so "well rested" or glowing. SPF creams are great for what they are designed for, and generally CAN be used at night as well but as their name suggests they are more for the day [cream] use. And if you're afraid of using a moisturer/night cream because of oily skin, I'll say this...using a moisturizer will help balance out your skin's oil production. Your skin will produce oil in place of moisturizer when you don't use it, therefore if you moisturize regularly your skin will need to produce less of it's natural moisturizer: oil
Anyways, hope this helps! <3
