I'm starting to get acne on my face, half of my cheek already has some, is there any diy or home remides for it won't get worse??

Home remedies and diy masks can be very bad for your skin, most recipes have products that clog pores like crazy. You're better off buying something from the store.

Diluted tea tree oil as a spot treatment helps me.

I agree with both of the above. HOWEVER, there is one remedy that shouldn't harm your face and that's olive oil. When you go to bed wash your face as usual then apply a thin layer of olive oil onto your face and leave it on for 2 minutes then wash it off.

Afterwards your skin should feel moisturiser enough to not apply moisturiser if you have dry skin and this is not the case then just apply your usual moisturiser.

In the morning your acne should have calmed down. Also don't worry about the olive oil breaking you out more because it is one of the oils that does not clog pores.

After you acne is gone create a scrub with the oil by adding a small amount of honey and brown sugar. Try to stay away from white sugar because it may be too harsh for the skin. Be very light with your hands if you use the scrub.

Olive oil is actually somewhat comedogenic (it's a 2 out of five, or "moderately low"). Google "oil comedogenic" for a list of the ratings of lots of oils (can't attach pics from my phone as beautylish isn't ios8 compatible). Oil cleansing method works for some but not all, some find it makes their acne worse.

Also, spot test with honey to make sure you're not allergic (your skin can react even if you don't have a problem eating it). And heavy exfoliating should wait until after acne has cleared, or you'll wind up spreading the bacteria all over your face.

I like tea tree oil as a spot treatment but if you have any face masks you can usually use them as a spot treatment too. Turmeric is great for skin applied topically or ingested, tho it can stain for a bit so it's best to use as a mask before bed. Drink TONS of water, eat lots of fruits and veggies and stay away from dairy and soy (they contain lots of hormones), wash your phone and pillow and anything else that regularly touches your face to eliminate bacteria.

Whenever I start to see myself breakout I immediately go to lush and get 3 masks that will help it go away, its cosmetic warrior, catastrophe cosmetic and mask of magnaminty, also lush sells a tea tree water which I use everyday until the breakout heals. they also have tea tree toner tabs which are tablets that you use to steam your face with, buy 7 because they are really cheap and steam your face with it everyday before doing your skincare routine. if this doesn't work then go to your dermatologist asap.

I noticed you said half your cheek has acne. It's possible that holding your phone to one side of your face more than the other (which most of us do without realizing it) could be contributing to the problem. Sorry though. Don't know of any fail proof home remedies.

Yeah, Olivia, Honey and Olive Oil both aren't actually all that great for all skintypes, especially acne prone skintypes...I concur on using a face mask as a spot treatment, I always do.

Tea tree oil is a good spot treatment or used diluted as a toner but establishing a good skincare routine is key cleanse with a salicylic cleanser at night a gentle one in the morning tone , spot treat and moisturize , exfoliate twice a week , and a chemical exfoliater , or enzyme exfoliater is best
