So I love this brush! But I can't seem to get all the gunk out. I clean it with baby shampoo but it's just won't come out. It's making the brush unusable. I even tried regular shampoo & regular soap. Any ideas or suggestions?

Those brushes soak up a lot of product but I will say just get a brush cleaner it saves the hassle and if you have acne prone skin or oily skin I wouldn't use olive oil in the mix of cleaning because it sticks to the bristles and then you use it with products and apply on your skin which really is just adding oil on top of everything in turn you mess with the product purpose plus your skin.:-)

I've had really good luck degunking with Aveda's Shampure shampoo. It's a very astringent shampoo (my hairstylist forbade me to use it any more, so I'm using it up on my brushes. I should have about 60 more years worth of brush cleaner in my ginormous bottle). I got some cream makeup in my wayne goss brush and I had to shampoo it several times, but it did come out on the third try.
Parian spirit works wonders and will get almost anything out. But yes, your brush will smell like oranges for a long long time...

The dish soap worked amazingly well! The brush feels like new!
