I am very excited for one reason being I'm going ice skating with my besties tomorrow! That and I'm off from school for 3 weeks (#yas). I have never been ice skating before, the closest I have been is roller skating which I failed at. I want to be comfortable but warm because here in Nevada it is 34?F and the high is 57?F...so its going to be cold! Are there any outfit ideas? Pictures would help too:) Also hair&makeup ideas would be nice as well:)
Thanks love<3

Wear thick jean with leggings underneath and super thick socks maybe even two thick layers. Skates hurt your feet a lot especially at first. And you WILL fall so you need to layer lol. If youre outdoors wear a few layers like tshirts and a sweater then a thick winter coat. Don't forget your hat and gloves too!! I always go in winter :) have fun.

Btw this sounds ugly lol but trust me you want to be comfy. Maybe concentrate on the hair and makeup. I would do simple eyes and a dark lip with a cute hat and curled hair.

I agree with Lara! It hurts your shins the first time so I suggest everything she said.

I find ice-skating easier then roller skating I'm not sure if its kinda the same or what but I can't roller skate to save my life but I'm pretty good at ice-skating maybe the same thing'll happen to you :) & everything they said up there is perfect! ^^^

I absolutely suck at ice skating! Lol, yes, you will be falling a lot. Thick pants would be great..I would wear a long sleeve and a zip up or cardigan because believe it or not you get hot! Lol. I would put your hair up because when you fall it gets annoying because it gets in your face constantly. Gloves because you will fall and try to catch yourself and your hands will get cold, and last but not least thick socks. Have fun! :) :)

Never underestimate about how cold it can get in an ice rink
Go with Lara's outfit suggestions

I agree with Smarika lol
I'm good at both but balancing and staying still is so much easier with ice skates

I'd definitely go for layers, if you get comfortable moving around without holding on to the side (a good way to get started and fall less) it can become a bit of a work-out. I'd go for a thin long-sleeve shirt, a sweater/cardigan and a coat and scarf. Plus thick pants, have to pad the butt!
