First things first, the packaging:
Eh..The plastic is kind of cheap looking. I like the look of the silver and black together, though...Although, let me tell you, one of my biggest pet peeves is chipping ANYTHING...it has black decals (just lines) all on the front and it says "Voluminous Butterfly" overlayed on a black base, well, IT HAS CHIPPED SO MUCH. The worst part? Its been sitting in a drawer, what could be rubbing it off? Anyways, that is just me being a pain in the A$#. Haha. Its pretty long too and kind of chunky.
Wand:
Initially, I had thought the the winged, flared out brush was only a gimmick but to my surprise it works fabulously. The brush does catch and lift the ends of your eyelashes, creating an awesome flare to them. I've always had trouble coating ALL of my lashes (they're from the very beginng on my eyes to the very end) but this mascara solved that problem. The thin to flared thing really is great. I've also always like rubber wands personally, for lengthy mascaras.
Formula:
Well, the formula is pretty nice. On the brush though, its intimidating, it always comes out kind of clumpy...a wipe of the brush solves that though. Its a pretty solid formula, not too wet, not to dry, it is perfect to say at the least (for me). I got the regular version(non-waterproof), its amazing! Holds a curl and lasts all day. it does not flake nor smudge on me whatsoever..not even on my bottom lashes, which are long, causing most mascaras to smudge; Not a problem with this one. Its the bomb! Also the thinner side is amazing for the lower lashes. Also, it does NOT clump on the lashes, it separates them beautifully. This mascara gives insane INSANE length. I prefer mascaras that give volume because naturally my eyelashes are long and get length regardless and lacks in the full department..however, this paired with voluming mascaras is AMAZING.
Overall, this product has made it to my top 3! Which...hasn't happened in a while.
I've recently got quite a few new mascaras, I was wondering if you guys would like more reviews like this in the future? :)

Holy cow! I liked this mascara but didn't love it because it didn't hold a curl to my very straight lashes. I tried the Loreal intenza butterfly mascara and OMG. It's now my HG. I can't imagine what it would do to your lashes! And yes I love seeing reviews so keep posting them! (:

Shanae, $6?! nice! I don't even know the original price (oops), there was a store in the city closing and ALL makeup was 3 for $10!! so stoked. even foundations so I stocked up haha! definitely check it out!

Damn! I forgot to mention that, I uses TWO COATS! lol no joke. I'm obsessed. its so black too! I like mine to be voluminous and not super separated (not like clumpy though), but this mascara changed my mind for sure! lol.

Do you have to kind of work to get it off? I have the waterproof version, and it stays on all day with no flaking, which is great, but it's more of a struggle to remove it like I usually do (even compared to other waterproof mascaras.

Nope, comes off fairly easy. Usually most mascaras(all I use is non-waterproof) give me raccoon eyes when washing them off and takes forever, not with this one. I haven't had a problem. I've seen quite the handful of people saying they had problems with removing the waterproof version!

I like these kind of reviews! I'm glad you had luck with this mascara but for me it was horrible. It flaked so bad and I hadn't even rubbed my eyes. Everyone seems to have good results with it other than me lol.
