I've been dying my hair quite a bit this year and I finally found a colour I want to stick with lol. I dyed it 8 weeks ago and my roots are definitely noticeable. should I wait a bit longer to dye it again to avoid damaging my hair or is it okay to dye it now?

It's okay! when I had my hair red I'd dye it every week/week1/2 lol...

When I was blonde I was bleaching regrowth every week and a half... If you're just touching up roots, especially with a low volume developer, you can definitely get away with sooner than ten weeks. Six weeks is probably ideal, depending on how fast your hair grows and how drastic the difference is between your natural roots and colored hair.

I think its okay to dye it now since its been 8 weeks and you can see the regrowth. if your hair is damaged I would recommend using a hair masque once or twice a week depending on how damaged your hair is. there are some diys hair masque if your on a budget or a really good one is by Macadamia. what color are you dying your hair?

Yeah my hair grows reallyyyy fast lol. I naturally have dark brown hair but I'm dying it a a redish brown with some purple. Here's a picture of the colour but it looks more purple in person. The colour has washed out a lot and is now this weird copper colour which is why I want to dye it again.

If it's just a temporary colour you are using, the colour molecules don't reach the centre of your hair, they just stay on the outer layer. Which means little to no damage, so you can put that colour in as often as you like. But if it's a high lift permanent colour, then you may not want to re do your hair more frequently than 4 weeks. Definitely use a hair masque on your ends to maintain good hair health :)
