Mineral/powder foundation any good?

Hi guys,
I'm thinking about buying the bare escentuals original foundation and I just wondered if any of yous had tried it and could share with me your experiences. I have combination skin and like medium coverage. Any tips and tricks would be fab too!

The BareMinerals Powder foundation was the first foundation I used. I would probably give it 2.5-3/stars. It's not medium coverage at all, it is pretty decent. It is quite irritating to the skin though, so if you are interested in the 'it's good for your skin' marketing hype they build up I recommend looking at other brands.

I'm not a fan of their foundation. It doesn't give much coverage and is incredibly drying...settling into every crease.

I love their Mineral Veil as an alternative to powder. I'm also crazy about their blemish therapy.

In summation, there's so much better out there for your complexion with regard to foundation, but they may have a product or two for you that's a great fit.
