Whenever I wear concelear or bb cream, it always becomes noticeable no matter how much I blend it. It looks like I put it over a scab or whatever, and sometimes it turns orange-ish or a darker skin tone than me. Do you girls know what is happening?? Thanks:)

Are you sure it's the right skin color?

It might be good to go to a place where they match your skin tone. Mac does that and their products work EXTREMELY well. If you're trying to go cheaper you could either try going a shade or two lighter or consider buying the skin tone matching ones. I know maybelline has a bb cream like that, and so does Almay.

I would make sure that you're staying super moisturizer! The scab thing sounds like a drying problem. Primers help too (:

You should buy the maybelline fresh bb cream, its AMAZING! I use bb cream because I don't want my skin to look cakey and thats exactly what the maybelline bb cream does! it blendss perfectly into your skin to make your skin look flawless! :)

Do you have dry skin? If you do that's probably the problem. You want to moisturize well and use a primer. It will go on a lot smoother that way.

I'll be honest, I've tried every BB cream I can get my hands on and they're all either too dark on me when they're the lightest shade or they break me out badly..

It sounds like you have a build up of dead skin cells or dry skin. I would try a mild scrub or an exfoliant to gently remove the dead skin. Do not try to remove it all at once which can irritate your skin and cause other problems like breakouts or broken cappilaries (which generally don't go away without professional help). I would do this at least twice a week but if your skin is sensitive you may have to start off at once a week at work up to 2x a wk. Then in the morning, use a light moisterizer & make sure it is absorbed before you apply any makeup over it. Try applying your makeup in a pressing and patting motion with your fingers. Smooshing it into your skin with your fingers or a damp sponge. Try not using a brush which can cause micro exfoliation which can rile up flaky skin. You don't want that look in the morning when your going to face the world. Also, even if you're using your fingers, don't 'rub' or smooth on your makeup as if it is a moisterizer. The less friction, the better when doing your makeup.

I forgot to say to do the exfoliation at night (so if there is a littl pinkness in your skin, it will have time to calm diwn over night. and try not using any clay masks which can be drying. Even if you don't have dry skin (although skin does change over the years & you could be slowly developing dry skin which would mean you would have to change up your skincare products). If you truly do not have dry skin you could still have 'surface dehydration ' which mimics true dry skin. After You exfoliate and "pat" dry wait 10mins or so then apply a medium to rich moisterizer with no "actives" in it.
