I like it but the nice thing about ombre is that you don't have to grow your hair out too long to chop it off if you really hate it.

There wasn't really a progression of color. it does just look like two colors. I'd go back and ask them to blend

I noticedthat jenna! btw I did it by myself haha.. I don't wanna damage my hair anymore you think that if I get a haircut just to trim the layers a little bit would help? I don't wanna chop all the hair obviously

No cutting it shorter or thinning up the layers won't really do anything for the color as it's where the brown meets the blonde where the issue is.
maybe after a good few washes it'll start to have a fade out. and maybe start your curls up from a bit higher. I find ombrés tend to look more natural when it looks like it flows with a curl.

Maybe add a little more black down towards the light brown color and or add highlights in your bangs the same color as the light brown color.
