Agree with Janet, do a coconut oil hair mask. I apply it at least once a week from the bottom up. I Try to leave it as long as I can (sometimes 30 min sometimes an hour) your hair will love it (:

Agree on coconut oil, I have naturally brittle hair so 3-4 time a week I put it in before bed and wash shampoo it out twice in the morninf.

The best way would be a haircut but oil masks can help too.

If you have damaged/split ends you'll need to get those trimmed first. for diy masks good ingredients to use are: honey, avocado, egg, mayo, coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil, castor oil, olive oil, aloe vera, bananas. for store bought mask I like loreal oleo therapy deep recovery mask. you'll also want a leave in conditioner. my conditioner can also be a leave in or mask so I use it mixed with a little oil (coconut, almond, or argan). my conditioner is the shea moisture for dry damaged hair.
