I have never done an at home facial so I am wondering from experience what I should do.

It depends for what reason you want it for. I make a few different ones for different reasons like an avocado mask, its just avocado. I use this for moisturiser and its also a sunscreen! but you wash it off after a few mins lol.
I also make a natural yoghurt and lemon facial, I use this to kill acne and clear my face. 3rd one you mix honey, Cinnamon and caster sugar, it works as an exfoliant/moisturiser/antibacterial/ gives glowing skin.
