Girl you just have to let them grow on there own. I'm growing mine thicker as we speak. Just keep away from the tweezers! Here's a pic of mine I don't put anything on them this is my struggle 😩

I saw on YouTube castor oil helps grow them FAST.

They don't look bad just fill them in like you normally do and don't pluck the stray hairs

My sister is currently using castor oil on her eye brows. She puts it on twice daily and it's been about a week and a half and it's grown quite a bit.

This is what I just started using.

Nothing can cause your hair to grow faster, and that includes eyebrows and lashes. Using oils just conditions the hairs by trapping moisture. Be careful though, as it can also trap bacteria (leading to blocked follicles, pimples, or blocked year ducts and sties if used on lashes).

Really you just need to be patient and let them full back in on their own. Be advised though, that if you have been plucking them that long, the follicles may be damaged and they may never fill back in as thick as they were before you started plucking.

I forgot to mention that castor oil is extremely dense and moderately comedogenic. It is too dense for the delicate skin around the eyes, and can lead to pimples, milia, and congested pores.

I disagree. I believe it when I see it & I've seen it.. so..

Either that, or I'm seeing the growth. I don't think I'm seeing anything.. I am seeing it.

I was as well.

You could always try it, Danielle, won't hurt anything. :)

Remember folks, anecdotes and placebo effect do not contradict documented scientific fact. Like I said, you risk causing several issues for absolutely no benefit. Use at your own risk.

Several issues? Lol. From castor oil? Come on now, you can't be serious. This is getting ridiculous. If she wants to try it, let her try it, everyone is different, it may work, it may not work, but that needs to quit. I don't know if I'm amused or annoyed.

Yes, things from mild pimples to milia (which are notoriously difficult to get rid of). And for what? Absolutely no benefit. I've done my due diligence and researched many of these fad remedies in medical journals, dermatology journals, and esthetician textbooks. Castor oil is a sealant when used externally, and a laxative if taken internally. Nothing more. It had no magical powers, no skin benefits, and no hair benefits.

I'll repeat myself: anecdotes do not outweigh scientific fact backed by empirical research. I don't care how many people swear up down and sideways that it works. It is the placebo effect, and nothing more.

Haha, I have nothing more to say about this. Apparently you know everything and I guess I'll leave it at that. I still suggest trying it. It WON't HURT anything. I've seen it work, you don't have to take my word, that's why I suggested trying it. If there's no benefit, then there's no benefit, but there's definitely not any harm.. that's just dumb.

Your brows look thick, think you just have to let en grow out like Erin said.

Emily as a medical profession student I appreciate you helping give people raw facts. Shanae you may be right that there is a great possibility it will not hurt but there is always a risk. I agree with Emily and the whole placebo idea. Shanae if you are familiar with any form of anatomy ( not trying to be rude just helpful) our face has sebaceous glands which secretes our own human oil lmao also known as sebum to nourish our skin and hair. It may not be the best idea to add excess oil because it can clog pores. I'm a big fan of not having heavy liquids or oils on my face. I think castor oil won't physically kill you but it might cause you to break out and the milla which are small white bumps. I lean toward Emily because I believe a scientific study over one persons experience with castor oil :p

I understand. I still think it's dumb, but I don't care anymore.

My doctor told me to use castor oil she said they also use it in the eyes for eyelashes as well.
