I've done everything to my hair, and I've been happy every time. The secret to a good haircut is knowing exactly what you want and nothing else is good enough. If you aren't 110% sure, don't do it.

Stylist of 13 years, if you're scared to do it, don't. Chances are you won't like it. You have to be ready and not be attached to your length.

I know my comment is late but Megan w. and Jennifer c. are super right I was not ready when I cut my hair and honestly I didn't go out for two months not even to get shampoo just cause I didn't like my haircut

It's too late... I got it cut anyways. I wouldn't have been "satisfied" until I trie to go this short, it's something I've wanted for a long time. So... I got it cut and it looks TERRIBLE. I have never had a cut that I've hated this much. And there's nothing I can do about it but wait for it to grow... I'm still in shock. I'm making a list of who I look like, here's what I got so far:
1. Real estate agent
2. Politician
3. An emo boy
4. Soccer mom

Urgg... I am really upset. It looks like a bad wig.

So it's the end of day 1 and I do feel better. However the woman styled it made it look like this creepy-ass wig. I washed it this morning, blasted it with dry shampoo, then blow dried it. And screwed around with bobby pins for the next 40 minutes. And I am definitely not ready to post a pic yet... My sister asked for one yesterday and I said NO. Lol
