I just got it in my ipsy bag. I've always been a little afraid to try new cleansers due to the fact that I'm scared of breaking out or something. especially because this cleanser has strawberry oil in it which has scent, and I've always heard that you don't want to be able to smell what youre going to put on your face. so is this product worth trying?

I have never tried this product but have heard amazing things about the indie Lee line... check up on all the ingredients if you are worried

I think the idea behind not putting anything on your face that has a scent is for added fragrance, if the smell is coming from natural oils in the cleanser that is different. You just don't want to use anything that has been perfumed to make it smell better.

Fragrance still causes damage, synthetic or not. Just because it's natural does not make it any better.. Fragrance irritates the skin and can cause free radical damage as well as break down collagen. If you have acne prone,oily ,sensitive skin, or redness I wouldn't touch it as fragrance contributes to these.

Well to be real the strawberry plant can not be made into a essential oil so it has to have some synthetic fragrance added or you wouldn't get the strawberry smell , but it doesn't mean you will break out honestly no one knows what will make them break out till they use it , indie Lee is a good brand however so all I can advise is that you try it and see , a cleanser is not left on your skin for a long period of time it's rinsed off , so you may have luck with it.

I got that same cleanser. I have very oily skin and I have the tendency to break out easily and it worked great. No issues and my skin felt so soft afterwards. I used it with my sonic cleansing brush , the consistency of the cleanser was strange and I didn't feel like it worked well when I just used my hands. If you have a facial brush I highly recommend using it with that. Definitely going out and purchasing the full size product!
