How to heal scratched lip?

Hello girls! Braces suck. I got a new
coil above an empty space. And it scratched my lip and it hurts a lot! Anything to help?

Lol thank you and I do but I can't put it on the coil because it will get underneath and it will get dirty.

No, no. You can put wax on the coil. I had one for quite some time and I would have ripped it right off, if it hadn't been for the wax. It takes a second to find a comfortable position for it and will be a little awkward at first, but it's possible. I always get the mint wax packs by GUM, they smell and taste delicious lol.

I have the same coil thing! I know it hurts but for me it got better! I could never find the place that was causing the cut so I couldn't put wax on it. What helped me is I put a washcloth in my mouth when I slept😂. So the coil thing wouldn't touch my lip. It helped cause the cut would kinda heal at night and I did that every night till it got better. Hope I helped!
