Erin, I sometimes wear my eos Chapstick underneath but sometimes I forget. So I'm going to try to wear it everyday now! And I don't exfoliate I just use a cleanser every night to wash my face. I should probably start though. Thank you for the advice!

Exfoliating your lips with your toothbrush is a good way to exfoliate them. That's what I do & I feel that it really helps.

Shanae, so you use your plain toothbrush or do you run water over it? Lol that's a good idea.

Try a lip scrub. Lush has some good ones but yes make sure you always wear a Chapstick underneath:)

I have a separate toothbrush that I use for it, not for any specific reason lol. I scrub my lips with the toothbrush for about a minute on each lip and then I use a chapstick that contains some kind of mint or peppermint.. which mine is Burts Bee. I used to use straight peppermint oil, but it left a glossy look that I didn't really want and it tasted weird when a little got into my mouth. It smelled amazing though. If you like the glossy look, I'd suggest trying to put some peppermint oil in your lip gloss, if you can..

It definitely depends on the lipstick brand for me.
