SOO, I own four maybelline matte lipsticks and I love them! But I've worn the ravishing rose shade three times now and it seems to change color on my lips?? Not in a flattering way. It seems to have changed color in the tube as well. Any idea as to what's happening here? Is it oxidizing? Is there a way I can stop this from happening? To be honest it seems to happen with a lot of similar pink shades for me. What's the deal?? I LOVE pink it's my favorite!! I added a picture but its kind of hard to tell...

I love that shade. It looks ok to me. It's a mystery. I've never heard of a lipstick oxidizing. I have one that's 60 years old and it's pretty much the same shade as it was when it was new.

I agree with Jenny. I have the magenta shade from the same collection and the first couple of minutes it looked great on me and then after an hour I looked a mess. The color looked so aging on me. Yuck. I can in the pic how bumpy the lipstick looks...you might have picked up one that was a bum mix.

It isn't kush you, my Maybelline "make me pink" shade seems to do this as well and it's not a matte shade it's just the regular colorsensational formula.

Thanks Jenny I will have to read the thread!! I wonder how ph would be color specific? It only ever seems to happen with pink. And thanks ladies! I'm relieved I'm not the only one!!
