I have acne on my chin but all they are is little white bumps that never do anything, or sometimes, every once in a while turn into big zits. What the heck are these? Oh yeah, my clarisonic is coming in the mail, do you think it will clear these little nasties up?
Thank You!!!!

I honestly don't know. But I have been having the same problem. I have never used clarisonic but I do use Noxema and after washing my face they usually clear up after a couple washes. Let me know if that clarisonic works. Maybe I could try it out.

I have those! I tried removing it with blackhead remover tape and it worked. Also, you have to wash it with facial wash like 2-3 times a day.

It might help to clean your cell phone. There's probably a lot of dirt and oils there and you don't even know it.

Try St. Ives apricot scrub. It exfoliates the skin to clean out dirt from your pores.

Those are closed comedones aka Whiteheads. It is just oil build up/ clogging. If you go get a facial you can get them extracted & cleared up. The best way to prevent them is by gentle exfoliation (no harsh drying products or scrubs). They will always come up once in a blue depending on how much oil you secrete throughout the day. hope this helps :)

& BTW YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WASH YOUR FACE 2-3 TIMES A DAY. If you wear heavy makeup during the day, cleansing your face in the morning when you wake up & before you go to bed at night is prefectly fine.

Definitely whiteheads, I'd say. Good suggestions above, would add that if you are cleansing even 2 times per day and using any acne products that dry your skin you should also use an oil-free moisturizer. Nutrogena (sp?) has a good, affordable one. If your skin gets too dry, the dead skin can clog pores and exacerbate your acne. Oh--if you can, go to a derm. My did recommend the Clarisonic btw, but it freaked me out (seems unhygienic) so I haven't actually tried it.

Yes they are closed comedones. I used to have loads and after 3 months of using Differin they have all gone. Nothing else worked for me.

I get those on my forehead all the time. Instead of buying expensive scrubs and facebrushes, try Lava Soap! It worked in 2-3 days for me. Its cheap and works wonders(:
