Here's the thing: what most people consider to be an "every day smokey eye" has absolutely nothing to do with actual smokey eyes. There is no such thing as a "light" or "subtle" smokey eye. So here's my point, there's nothing wrong with wearing actual smokey eyes during the day; a simpler way to do it would be to use shades of brown rather than shades of black or grey, which can be a bit harsh. However, if you just want a daily shadow look with some lighter colors and good blending, Pinterest could be a good place to look.
