Hey guys.
I've been using Clinique's Acne Solutions trio and although it's worked wonders, it has dried out my skin extremely.
I usually get flaking around my lip/chin area, eye area and forehead. Sometimes even my cheeks -.-
I don't know what to do!!
Which foundations/concealers should I use to keep my flakes away? I do moisturize before I use foundation but it ends up flaking anyways.
I also have extreeeeeme hyperpigmentation due to previous acne and I have a LOT of acne scarring.
Help me out please 😭

Do you exfoliate? That would help a lot with the flakes.

I agree^ find a gentle exfoliant to use every other day along with your cleanser. I like the epice purifying exfoliant:) also add a heavy duty night cream to your routine. I like the Estée Lauder one :)

It sounds as though you need a better moisturizer, as well. I'd recommend a thicker one at night, I'm currently really enjoying Origins Night-a-mins moisturizer, as well as the Korres Wild Rose and Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Facial. The Korres one may be better for your purposes, since it's designed for brightening dark spots and evening skin tone. Make sure you're using a daily moisturizer with SPF if you decide to use the Korres lotion.
