Just blend them with your fingers, don't brush your hair with a hairbrush.

Always make sure your curls are fully cooled off before brushing through. I recommend the nume curling wands they are amazing and always have great sales going on! And the curls last for days.

I have the same problem lol. My hair is naturally very straight, when I curl my hair some of the curls look unflattering on my so I try to smooth them out and then my hair just goes into one big puff of hair lol.
