What is the best oil for the skin? Can you breakout from using an oil on the skin?

Jojoba is my favorite. It is gentle and helps restore moisture while mimicking your skin's own natural oil. Rosehip is great for keeping skin bright. Sweet Almond is light and affordable for the whole body as is Apricot Oil. It's nice to put a little on hair ends to kill frizz and softens lines on the face. Tea tee diluted is excellent for acne and Tea Tree Treatments are fabulous for dry, inflamed and flaky scalps. Coconut Oil is perfect for removing make up and keeping hair soft. Argan Oil keeps complexions dewy and is light and quick absorbing.
Any oil you use should be tested with a patch first for sensitivity prior to using on a larger scale.
If you are acne prone, Jojoba is your best bet. :)

P.S. I apply moisturizer. Then Jojoba about an hour later...prior to bed.

Would the Jojoba oil help with inflammation and scaring?

Neutrogena makes a body oil that is from Sesame seeds. I mix it with a drop of Almond Oil and it helps my skin a lot! It absorbs very quickly and doesn't just sit on the skin like most oils. It also smells amazing, almost like a summery smell!

Actually, drinking green tea and combining it with regular use of a green tea rinse will naturally reduce inflammation both internally and externally. You can soak 2 green tea bags in a cup of hot water and let cool...then place in a squeeze bottle to use as a face rinse. It's enough for a few days use. As for scars, Vitamin C serums brighten skin and help even skin tone. You want to look for a serum where ascorbic acid is the active ingredient. Rosehip oil should help, but again, I'd test a patch first if you are acne prone. You can use alternate jojoba and rosehip for restoring moisture while brightening. They work well with CeraVe moisturizer or Cetaphil.  :)
