How do I contour and high light for brown skin? I see the sets but I know they would not work with my skin tone. I have oily skin so I don't like really sheer highlighters.

I've been trying to figure this out as well! Not for me but like when I do my sisters face. I have found that illuminating with a lighter concealer and then after adding shimmer highlight to the top of the cheek bones will help a lot. Also blush don't forget that! It actually makes a ton of difference. But yea I have not found a good contour powder for her skin tone:(

I use the milani xL bronzer in fake tan for the bronzer side, I find that it works really well! highlighter wise, I just use a highlighter pen from maybelline and blend it out really well! I'm looking for a good gold-toned highlighter tho =/

Use a powder two shades darker than your skin tone and blend with a nice bronzy blush.

Since you have oily skin I recommend contouring with powder instead of creams and liquids.
find a matte bronzer thats 2 shades darker than your skin tone. nars have some really nice bronzers so maybe you should check it out. as for highlighting find a highlighter thats 2 shades lighter than your skintone. I recommend mac pro long wear or mac prep and prime pen. to set the high lighting areas, use a powder thats lighter than the normal powder you would use to set your entire face, other wise your pretty much defeating the purpose of highlighting. I recommend mac mineralized skinfinish in light.

Coverfx has a lot of shades for powder foundation that I use for countouring. They're matte and beautiful!
