To add to what Alexis has said, I think you should find a color wheel. When looking at color wheels, complementary colors are always opposite each other on the color wheel. In this case, that would be orange, or anything with an orange undertone, most shades of warm browns, and any sort of deeper color (navy, deep green, deep purple, black etc.) will bring out your eyes because of the shade contrast of dark against light.

Thanks! Mine are like bluish greenish grey all depending so I'm always confused since they typically have colors for green eyes and colors for blue eyes. And no department store or ulta people ever seem to want to help lol.

I've heard orange before I've been kind of scared to try it, I feel like it will look horrible on my more fair skin but I guess it's worth a try! Thanks! :)

Well here's the thing, very few people who work at department stores or Ulta are actually trained in makeup artistry. They're usually trained in sales, and so wouldn't really be able to answer your questions, they would rather just sell you things! If you're scared of orange, try a bronze shade with a very strong orange cast to it. It won't be really orange but it will give the same effect. A good palette for that would be Kat Von D's Monarch Palette, the shade Wrath is a deep, metallic burnt orange, as opposed to something like Sugarpill's Flamepoint =)

A Smokey eye will make your eyes pop immensely. I absolutely love a classic Smokey eye on grey/blue eyes, it makes the eyes piercingly icey looking. just gorgeous
