How do I make my hair grow to my waist? How long do you think it will take. It's to my shoulders now. How long did it take to grow your hair?

Probably 2-3 years, it takes time, just keep your hair healthy

But of course it depends on genetics, yours might grow slower or faster than that

Also, I'd like to add that genetically, some people's hair simply will not grow that long. That is perfectly normal, and you shouldn't be disappointed if your hair doesn't get to that length. You definitely have to keep it healthy, though.

I have heard that you can grow your hair 1-4 inches in one WEEK! Yes, I said week. I have tried this and I really didn't stay on top of my routine, but I still grew 1-2 inches! I...
- Used the inversion method
Every day, flip you are hair over and massage the top of your scalp for 4 minutes. You can use hair oil or any other kind of extract oil (ex. Coconut Oil, Moroccan Aragon Oil.) I skipped the oil massage part, but I do use One n' Only Moroccan Aragon Oil spray on damp hair after I shower. You can get that probably at any drugstore, but I found it at Sally Hanson's. I actually donated 11 inches of my hair to Locks of Love. I felt great doing it, but after a while, I missed my long hair. It grew some since then, but then a made slight changes.
-Do NOT brush your hair when it's wet!
This damages your hair significantly. Imagine your hair as silk when it's wet. You wouldn't take a brush to silk, would you? I use an oil and towel dry. If I do come it while damp, I use a wide tooth comb. As it gets drier, you can use your regular hair brush.
-Ring out your hair before you condition.
I have never been one to do this, but I have started doing it and not only does it help my hair stay healthy, it is a lot softer! If you can stand washing your hair is cool, not freezing, but cool water, it is better for your hair. It will make you hair sleek and silky. I have seen a different with this part, even if I just rinse it in cool water in the end.
-Drink lots of water!
Water is great for a lot of things: hair, skin, health! I am always dehydrated and I don't drink enough water still. If you have problems with your skin, drink water! Water is so good for so many things, including your hair! Your hair will be sleek and shiny. If you do not like water, I suggest flavor packets or Mio-like products.
-Brush your hair!
I suggest that you brush your hair 2-3 times daily, just like your teeth. Tangles can pull out your hair and strip your hair of natural oils. Besides, who doesn't like the feel on soft, brushed hair?
-Protect your hair!
If you use hot iron tools (straightener, curler, crimper), I suggest you get a heat protective spray. I am still in the process of buying one, but it is so great for protecting you hair! I don't use hot irons a lot anyways, so if you don't, you don't really have to worry about this step.
I hope this helps!
