I've just switched foundation to Estée Lauder double wear in ivory beige. I love the foundation but feel it's too thick.. What are the best alternatives? And thoughts on my make up?

I love Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation - it's got great coverage, gives a dewy finish and feels lovely and light on the skin.

I adore MUFE velvet matte. I don't think it feels as heavy as the double wear, and its just so lovely.

As far as your makeup goes (since I did not see that when I answered previously) I like it! I do feel like the blush/ contour is a bit harsh and should be blended. but I love the sharp inner eye liner. what liner do you use? all of mine smudge when I do that.

P.S. a list of products its expected, as it adds content to your thread.

I noticed that too with that foundation so I mix mine with a little bit of cover girl 3 in 1 foundation and a noticed a huge difference

My favorite foundation is Loreal true match Lumi. Pretty light coverage but I adore the finish and I prefer to have a light coverage foundation and a high coverage concealer so my face looks as natural as possible :)

That's a very subjective question and there's a lot of things to consider when suggesting a foundation... however if you have normal to oily skin, I agree with Urban Decay Naked skin.

The Lancome Tient Idole 24 Hr wear is much thinner than my double wear maximum coverage, and has medium to full coverage also. I love both, but I wear the Lancome more, and bring the DW out for more special occasions.

OK for one, you are effing beautiful!

your brows are nice but I would make them a Tad thicker.you also have really big eyes which I love.

it looks like you have good skin so I would just sheer out the foundation. it's always easier to sheer out a full coverage foundation than to build a light foundation to full coverage.

But I love how graftobian photographs. so beautiful.
mufe mat velvet is another awesome one.

To sheer or lighten Estée Lauder DW foundation, I use a damp sponge (real technique or beauty blender etc) and apply lightly around my face in a dabbing motion. I do this because I found that the DW foundation cracks around my forehead.
