So my fiancé said he's taking me to sephora to pick out something but I have no idea what I want. I really wanted the line time Venus palette but they do t carry it at sephora. What should I get?

Since you said you were looking for the Venus pallet, I'll go with pallets for now. My current fave pallet is the smashbox full exposure. the shimmers are to die for, And when you wet your brush they're amazing and last like crazy! other favorites I can't live without:: MUFE matte velvet foundation, sephora matte lip cream stain things (can't remember exactly but they're like KVD liquid lippies, but much less drying and cheaper) , ABH dipbrow.

Most things from Kat Von D are wonderful, you may want to check out the Monarch palette, it's a wonderful warm neutral palette with an orange shade and a bright gold, 12 shades in all. You should also check out the Star Studded palette if you have any interest in some brighter colors. That's the #1 palette I'm coveting at the moment.

I could list for DAYS all the specific products to check out. so instead I'll just list the brands, lol. definitely check out the NARS (my personal favorite), Urban Decay, Too Faced, & KVD counters. Tarte is pretty great too, but I don't want to overwhelm you, lol.

Definitely take a look at palettes. So many have come out recently so I recommend taking some time to swatch them!
Make Up Forever has amazing eyeshadows!
Limecrime was online only though, and they pulled it from Sephora. So you can only find it online.

I am head over heels in love with the Smashbox Always Sharp liners. I'm well on my way to buying all of the lipliners. When you twist the cap back onto the liner, it reshapes the tip back to a point. So friggin convenient! And if you try no other lipstick, you should try the Nars Audacious collections. Honestly the best formula I've ever tried and it comes in 40 different shades (sephora carries 30)
