DIY brush holders

So, I'm trying to do my own vanity and I just bought some stuff for my desk to tramsform it. I didn't wan't to spend any additional money ln brush holders, so I got 2 glasses and poured white beans in them, then stuck my brushes in them. But I think they look too simple. What can I do to make them look better??
