Maybe like a matte brown?

Depends on what you want to do with the palette. Matte brown would make the palette good for complete looks, but I bet you already have a million matte browns. I'd go for another color you're not likely to find elsewhere. I think an subdued, orange or purple-based pink shade would go well.
