Take the top layer of your hair and pin it up then tease the hair underneath it the put the top layer back down.

I agree with Grace, a little tease and hairspray, and voila. Volume :) If you are unsure of how to do so, use a comb, and 'back comb' going the opposite way.

Dry shampoo adds a lot of volume!

Add dry shampoo, then back comb you hair. And to make sure your stays that way just spray your hair with hairspray!
